Description
The Sent Residency is a learning community that resides in Masaka, Uganda. It is a live-in experience that is designed to equip you in cross-cultural ministry and in disciple-making in any context. We will endeavor to grow though a mixture of teaching, ministry experience, communal living, study, service, and encounters with the Lord through prayer and worship. Together we will develop rhythms of life that include prayer, outreach, studying, and family activities.
Many of us struggle with sharing Jesus with others, and yet it is the clear desire of the Father that we do so. Fortunately, He has given us some wonderful helps in this - the Holy Spirit that lives in us, our friends that strengthen and support us, and His gospel which has inherent power to bring salvation. Together, we can significantly grow in our confidence and competence in making disciples.
Prayer is central to making disciples. We will participate in multiple prayer gatherings each week, and each resident will be expected to develop a robust life of personal prayer and intercession.
