We actively engage in mission through specific activities and outreaches locally and internationally.
Our passion is to make disciples, in obedience to the Great Commission:
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20).
We do this in Uganda through seeking to catalyze disciple-making movements by equipping believers to make reproducing disciples. Our hope is to see generations of disciples making disciples making disciples and on and on. Through this process, we believe many will come to Jesus and grow into the men and women He has created them to be.
In Tulsa, we partner with the Tulsa Boiler Room, supporting their work in making disciples and ministry to the poor. As we seek to share the Father’s love with people in need, we believe that we are revealing an essential part of His nature. Thus, we endeavor to engage with the oppressed and vulnerable, the marginalized and homeless.
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” (Luke 4:18-19)
We emphasize Engaging with discipleship and ministry to the poor in various international outreaches as well, through long-term mission teams, short-term mission trips, helping the needy, etc.
