We actively engage in mission through specific activities and outreaches locally and internationally.
Our passion is to make disciples, in obedience to the Great Commission:
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20).
We seek to do this locally through leading Discovery Bible Studies, providing mentoring and small group discipleship, and participating in house churches.
We also seek to serve the poor, because we are convinced that God has a particular and special love for them. As we seek to share the Father’s love to this population, we believe that we are revealing an essential part of His nature. Thus, we endeavor to engage with the oppressed and vulnerable, the marginalized and homeless.
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” (Luke 4:18-19)
We engage in ministry to the poor primarily through partnering with Thursday Night Light and the Merchant.
We emphasize Engaging with discipleship and ministry to the poor in various international outreaches as well, through long-term mission teams, short-term mission trips, helping the needy, etc.
If you are interested in engaging with us in discipleship or ministry to the poor, please contact us.
